Samsung launched Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 foldable phones this year. Their sales have not been encouraging. In such a situation, the company has made some changes in its plan. This year the company may launch Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, but their production will be reduced. According to reports, the South Korean company will produce only about 50 lakh units of these two foldable phones, which will be about 39 percent less than the previous series.
How many units of which phone will be made?
It is being told that Samsung will produce 30 lakh units of Z Flip 7 and 20 lakh units of Z Fold 7. This is much less than the total of 82 lakh units of Z Fold/Z Flip 6. The low demand for foldable phones has not only affected Samsung. Chinese companies will also reduce the production of their foldable phones in 2025.
Samsung has full attention on Galaxy S25 series
Even though Samsung is reducing the production of foldable phones, it is excited about the Galaxy S25 series. The company had produced 3.5 crore units of S24. In comparison, it will make 3.74 crore units of Galaxy S25. There are also reports that Samsung can also make 30 lakh units of S25 Slim. In this way, the total production of Galaxy S25 series can reach beyond 4 crores.
Galaxy S25 series will be launched in January
It has been said in some leaks that the company can launch this series on January 22. This will include Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25+ and Samsung Galaxy Ultra phones. 12GB RAM will be standard in the Galaxy S25 series. No model of this series will have 8GB RAM like the current S24 series. There are also speculations that 16GB RAM can be found in S25 Ultra.
