The local Sanmati Vimal Jain Senior Secondary School has been the leader in the inter-school painting competition organized by the Green Punjab Mission team. School director Shashi Jain said that Ripanjot Singh, a student of twelfth commerce, got the first place, Gurnoor Kaur, a student of ninth class, got the second place, while Sukhman Kaur of the ninth class and Arun Jain, a student of the seventh class, got the third place.
