Apple currently has a partnership with Globalstar
There is a partnership between Apple and Globalstar Satellite for emergency messages via satellite in models after iPhone 14. Due to this partnership, people are able to send messages to emergency contacts even when they are out of mobile network range. Now the paths of these two companies may diverge and Apple may introduce satellite 5G service in collaboration with Starlink. Currently, there is no arrangement between Starlink and Apple, but both the companies are using the same radio spectrum for the satellite feature. In such a situation, it will be easy for both the companies to come together.
How will Satellite 5G work?
As the name suggests, in this feature the device will get 5G connectivity from satellite. For this he will not have to depend on the existing mobile network on the ground. Its advantage will be that users will be able to get high-speed internet connectivity even in remote areas.
There may be an increase in the price of iPhone 18 series
Another report states that customers may have to pay higher prices for iPhone 18 series models. The reason for this is that the new models will be launched with A20 chip and many other hardware upgrades. In doing so, Apple’s costs will increase and its burden will also fall on customers.
