Nehru Siddhant Kendra Trust has announced ‘Satya Scholarship Program’ for the bright and poor students of Ludhiana on the occasion of the 33rd birth anniversary of its founder Satpal Mittal. This merit-cum-means-based scholarship program aims to support deserving students from socio-economic backgrounds. It focuses on girls pursuing engineering (B.Tech, BE, BSc (Engineering), Computer Science, Medical (MBBS, Undergraduates in BDS, BPT, BSc (Nursing), BSc (Paramedical), and Commerce (BBA, BCom) and studying integrated programs (3-5 years). It will be applicable to eligible students for admission in August 2025. First 100 students will be facilitated.

Announcing this initiative Rakesh Bharti Mittal, President of the Trust said that this initiative reflects our commitment to empower needy students to fulfill their dreams of pursuing higher education. This program is a tribute to our founder Satpal Mittal’s unwavering belief in the potential of youth and the power of education to transform society. This scholarship will be available for students with annual family income up to 5 lakhs. Beyond merit, the scholarship empowers girl students, persons with disabilities (PWD), orphans, children from single-parent families and athletes (state, regional, national and international levels). Recipients of this scholarship will be known as Satya Scholars. Upon successful graduation and subsequent gainful employment, Satya Scholars will be encouraged to voluntarily assist at least one student at the school or college level on an ongoing basis.
