School Scholarship: There is good news for 9th to 12th class students in schools of Haryana state. Haryana Government has launched a new scholarship scheme for school students. Students topping 9th to 12th standard in government schools will be given Rs 1000 per month. This scholarship amount will be given to the students under the Academic Excellence Encouragement initiative.
Students studying in government schools in Haryana who are the toppers of their class will get a scholarship of Rs 1,000 per month. The Haryana government has also placed a condition with this scholarship scheme. Accordingly, this scholarship will be awarded only to those students who will secure at least 60% marks in the final examination in future. This means that if a student tops the examination but does not get first division next time, his scholarship will be stopped.
Haryana School Scholarship Scheme: The district authorities were to submit the list of eligible students for this scholarship by January 24. Now the selected students will be invited for the next stage of the scholarship process. If the shortlisted students score 60 percent marks in the final examination, they will be given a scholarship of Rs 1,000 per month. Instructions have been sent to all the schools in this regard.

Apart from the Haryana School Scholarship, many other scholarships are also provided to the students of the state. This list also includes Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Yojana. Eligible students can apply for various scholarships as per their eligibility. Under the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme, boys get Rs 2,500 and girls get Rs 3,000 per month. The scholarship is awarded for 1 to 5 years depending on the duration of the syllabus approved by the Department of Education.
