(School Holiday List 2025) Even before the end of the year 2024, the education departments of various states have started issuing holiday calendars. There will be many holidays in the next year i.e. 2025. The Bihar School Education Department has also released the calendar of holidays to be held in 2025. Schools will remain closed for a total of 65 days in Bihar next year. These holidays are more than 2 months. However, due to the sudden implementation of new rules in Bihar, sometimes schools open even during holidays.

This year Bihar has become the first state to release the school holiday list 2025. Other states are yet to release their holiday calendar. Chhath has the highest number of holidays compared to other festivals in Bihar. Chhath is the most special festival of Bihar and schools are closed for 3-4 days every year on this occasion. Apart from this, schools in Bihar remain closed even during extreme heat and cold.

Bihar School Holiday Calendar: When will the schools of Bihar be closed in 2025?
Bihar School Education Department has released the holiday calendar for the year 2025 on 3rd December 2024. In the year 2025, there will be a total of 65 holidays in government schools. This holiday calendar is not mandatory for private schools. Teachers and students of government schools in Bihar will also be given summer and winter vacations. In this year i.e. 2024, the holidays of government schools in Bihar were cancelled. Due to this, teachers and students were very disturbed.

Bihar Summer Vacation:: There will be 20 days summer vacation in Bihar
20 days summer vacation will be given to teachers and students of government schools in Bihar. Apart from this, there will be 7 days i.e. 1 week holidays in winter. However, they can be increased according to the season. Schools will remain closed for 10 days from Dhanteras to Chhath Puja next year (Chhath 2025 date). This will give a lot of relief to teachers and students. Apart from these holidays, holidays are also given in case of heavy rains and other changes in weather.

In the Bihar holiday calendar for the year 2024, 60 days of holidays were scheduled for government schools. But even during the summer holidays and extreme heat, the teachers had to work in the school. In some schools, students were also invited.
