- Seat Allotment Process Begins At 5 Pm Today In DU; Most Number Of Students Choose BCom Honors

Delhi University has released the first list of UG Admission 2025 seat allotment at 5 pm today. All admissions will be through the CSAS UG 2025 portal. Candidates who get a seat in today’s list will have to give confirmation by July 21.
Preference was to be selected on July 15
The second phase of DU Admission CSAS UG 2025 has just been completed recently. In this, students had to select their syllabus and college preference. Students were shown their simulated rank on 15 July, in which they were given time till 16 July to make changes in their choice.
71,642 seats will be admitted
This year DU has received the most applications so far. There are about 71,642 seats available in 79 UG programs in 69 colleges and departments. The most applications in all courses have come for BCom (Hons).
More than 19.9 lakh candidates have applied for admission, with 48,336 candidates to put BCom (Hons) in the first choice.
Candidates topped SRCC in admission preference.
Apart from this, the most selected subjects include BA (Hons) Political Science, BSC (Honors) Zoology, BTech Maths and Humanities.
Most applications for Shri Ram College
The maximum number of 38,795 candidates have kept Sriram College of Commerce (SRCC) in the first preference. At the same time, Hindus, Hansraj, St. Stephens and Miranda House were at the second, third and fourth.
Meanwhile, ECA i.e. Educational Credit Assessment Trial has begun on 18 July which will run till 26 July. This includes more than 12+ categories like music, debate, theater, fine arts and yoga.
