The police of Banur police station have arrested a person with 2 kg 600 grams of opium. Police Station Head Inspector Gursevak Singh said that a suspect was seen near Ramnagar T-point carrying a bag, who tried to run away after seeing the police party but was caught. During the search of the bag, two kilos of 600 grams of opium were recovered from it. The police chief said that the person concerned has been identified as Mukesh Yadav, a resident of Rain police station, Herganj district, Latehar, Jharkhand. He said that further proceedings have been initiated by filing a complaint against the alleged accused.
