New Delhi: Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are famous for giving strong stories to Hindi cinema. They are bringing ‘120 brave’, which is a tremendous discussion about everywhere. Farhan Akhtar is playing the lead role in this film, while its story is based on the 1962 Indo-China war in Rejang La. Set between the harsh cold and snowy peaks of the Himalayas, this film will show the courage, sacrifice and indomitable courage of those janbaaz soldiers who did not leave their land till the end even in difficult circumstances. Director Rajneesh ‘Regi’ Ghai has told that this project has been prepared at a very large level. He also says that very closely and hard work has been done to put this historical and never forgetful story on screen.

Rajneesh says, ‘The scal of the film is very big. Just think, shooting with a crew of 600 people at a height of 14,000 feet. Where big equipment used in shoots such as cranes, lighting trucks, weapons and hundreds of extra artists were working in that very difficult situations. Sometimes, we were also shooting at minus 8 degrees at night. It was fantastic, but everyone was freezing; But the work we did was really amazing. Rajneesh further explained, ‘You yourself think: 120 Indian soldiers, 3000 Chinese soldiers are fighting in the Himalayas. So why will there be no grandeur in it? By standing in Ladakh, we feel so small and no camera lens can completely capture the beauty that looks at our eyes.

Rajneesh further said, ‘The action, blasts, hand fights and sequences of war have been shot on a very large canvas. We have shot about 35 minutes long climax. I do not think anyone in India has tried to do something like this. The most important thing is that our war scene seems absolutely real. Absolutely real. I do not want to make films that break the rules of gravity. I want people to believe that this fight was really done and they feel that they are in the middle of that war. We also called England from England who worked in ‘Game of Thrones’ to show real icy storms. Because the real battle took place at an altitude of 17,000 feet, minus 24 degrees, between icy storms, the reality was the most important for us.
