Silver Jubilee function was organized in St. Kabir Convent Senior Secondary School. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot Dr. Dr. Rajeev Sood was the chief guest and the founder and chairman of Baba Farid Group of Institutions. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal joined as Guest of Honours. School MD Prof. ML Arora welcomed the guests and children parents and celebrated the silver jubilee of the school by cutting the cake along with all the staff. He paid tribute to the founder and principal of the school late Pushpa Arora. Children presented a colorful program. Through choreography, he presented new problems such as unemployment, young generation going abroad and drug addiction etc. in a neat manner. Students performed in Punjabi folk dance Bhangra. On this occasion, tributes were paid to the four Sahibzades while celebrating Veer Balak Divas. The contribution of our country’s soldiers to educate children through the Army Act was shown. An emotional moment at the function came when former principals, administrators, vice principals and staff of the school were felicitated for their contribution by presenting shawls and mementos. At the closing ceremony, all the artists and students showed unity and enthusiasm. On this occasion, Principal Madam Kanchan Bala thanked everyone.
