Sonipat CIA Sector 3 in-charge Ramesh Kumar said on Wednesday that during the farmers’ movement in the year 2021, farmers had camped in Kundli. During that time an incident of robbery had taken place here. A bike, a mobile and a laptop were looted in this. The police registered a case in Kundli police station and started investigation. At that time no trace of the robber was found. Later the investigation of the case was handed over to the CIA.

This was a case of robbery
Police spokesperson said that on February 9, 2021, Sohan resident of Jakhauli district, Sonipat had given a complaint in Kundli police station that he works in Vardhaman Company Kundli. After doing his duty, he was going on the bike from Kachchi canal culvert towards village Aterna on TDI AREA road. Suddenly three young boys came on a bike. Two had sticks and one had a sword. They attacked him with sword and stick and looted him.
Two had already been arrested
Kundli police had already arrested two accused Gurashish resident of Baikhal Darapur, District Tarn Taran, Punjab and Nachchaitar Singh alias Bikka resident of Barwala, District Tarn Taran, Punjab. Police has now arrested the third accused Germanjeet has been arrested. The police had kept a reward of Rs 5,000 on him. Police arrested him today from near Pyau Maniyari on GT Road in Kundli area after receiving information from an informer.

According to the police, no other criminal record of Germandeep has been found yet. He is 12th pass and had come to join the farmers’ protest at Kundli border in the farmers’ movement.
