In a conversation with Mid-Day, Suraj Barjatya told that when he thought of casting Amitabh for his film height, he was very scared. He told that he had consumed 2 medicines before casting Amitabh. He was very scared. Then he spoke to Big B on video call.

Keeping his point further, he told that this film came to him in the year 2016. But then he did not think about its direction. ‘When the height subject came to me, I liked it very much. Later he thought that he would make this film some challenging. After this, we wrote in 2-3 months. Now my challenge was to bring Amitabh Bachchan in it. He told, ‘Amitabh listens with his eyes. He does not even blink his eyes and he is also scary. I sent him a story and he replied through zoom call. I had to take 2 anxiety medicines before that call.
