South Korea: President declares emergency


Seoul, December 3

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has declared a state of emergency in the country today. He alleged that the opposition parties are trying to destabilize the country at the behest of North Korea. It is worth noting that the popularity of the President of South Korea has declined in the last months. He has been struggling since taking office in 2022. Yun’s People’s Party also had differences with the opposition Democratic Party over next year’s budget bill.
