The city police today conducted searches and raids in three zones of the city against those who sell and buy Chinese door and against drug traffickers. Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that a special campaign has been launched today to arrest the drug traffickers and those who sell, buy and store Chinese drugs in order to eliminate the leprosy of drugs from the city. In this regard, police cordoned and searched the areas under three different zones of the city and questioned the suspects. The search operation was conducted under the leadership of DCP Alam Vijay Singh, which included police ADCP, ACP, police station in-charge, outpost in-charge, SWAT teams and police forces of police stations. He said that a thorough search has been conducted by the police teams in various sensitive areas of the city. The owners of the vehicles were questioned and the suspects were also questioned. The police officer said that as part of this campaign against the Chinese door, the police kept an eye on people flying kites with the help of drones, the children who were flying kites with Chinese doors were arrested and interrogated and based on the investigation, And Chinese door sellers were arrested. He said that around 108 bags of Chinese door have been recovered. Meanwhile, the parents of such children have been warned and the children have been released. The Commissioner of Police has appealed to the people of the city to support the police to maintain law and order. Information should be shared with the police against bad elements, drug dealers, Chinese door sellers. Similarly, in a separate operation, the police of the Airport Police Station arrested a person Kuldeep Singh alias Bhola and recovered 42 bags of Chinese door. Gate Hakeem police have arrested a person named Kunal Kumar and recovered 30 pieces of Chinese door. In another case, Cheharta police arrested a person Gurpal Singh and recovered 200 grams of heroin.
