Schools in many other countries of the world are banned on mobile. In such a situation, India seems to be walking on a new path.

The use of phone in school cannot be banned- court

The court said that students cannot be prevented from carrying smartphones in schools, but its use can be monitored. Students can keep their phone in a safe place in school and take it back on the way home. To maintain discipline in the classroom, there should be a ban on the use of phone in class and the use of smartphone cameras and recording in common area and school vehicles should be banned.

Teach students’ moral use of smartphones

The court also said in its order that schools should make their students aware of responsible online behavior, digital manor and moral use of phones. Apart from this, students should be given counseling etc. to avoid more screen time, cyber bullying and restlessness etc.

India came out on a different path from the world

In many countries of the world, including America and France, there is a ban on using mobile phones of students. In Sweden, a child under 2 years is not allowed to use screen. Even in adolescence, students can use screen for limited time. Similarly, America is also considering making rules on the use of phones in schools. Students up to secondary school in Italy cannot use phones.
