The Air Intelligence Unit of the Customs was conducting x-rays of the luggage of passengers arriving from abroad at the airport as usual. Meanwhile, two passengers crossing the green channel of customs were stopped by the AIU unit for x-ray of their luggage. As soon as the officials asked them to place the items in the X-ray, both of them started looking at each other. Actually, this case is of Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport. Both these riders were not ready to put their trolley bags in the x-ray despite being told several times. After saying sternly, as soon as both of them picked up the bag, there was a strong movement in it. The customs officials were surprised to see the movement in the bag and immediately seized both the bags.
The monkey was in the bag…
According to a senior customs official, in this case both the bags were taken to the AIU room for search. As soon as the two bags were opened in AIU’s room, 4 smart gibbons (monkeys) came out of them. There was commotion in the terminal as soon as Agile Gibbon was seen. After apprehending the agile gibbon, customs officials detained the two passengers. During the interrogation, it was revealed that both the passengers had come from the city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Since agile gibbons are kept under the Wildlife Protection Act, these two travelers were arrested. Let us tell you that the agile gibbon is also called the black-handed gibbon. The gibbon is black in color and looks like a small monkey.
