The meeting of Panj Singh Sahibs was held at Sri Akal Takht regarding the case of Sukhbir Singh Badal, who was declared as a salaryman, in which the decision is being pronounced from Sri Akal Takht against Sukhbir Badal and other leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal. Meanwhile, Sukhbir Badal accepted almost all the charges against him. The Singh Sahibs asked them to answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’. On this occasion, Sukhbir Badal answered all the questions in ‘yes’.
The case of Sukhbir Singh Badal and other Akali leaders was discussed in the gathering of Panj Singh Sahibs at Sri Akal Takht and further action has been taken. In this regard, 17 Akali leaders who were cabinet ministers during the Akali government from 2007 to 2017 including Sukhbir Singh Badal, members of the Shiromani Akali Dal’s immediate core committee and interim committee, etc., were summoned to the Akal Takht.
BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa was also invited in the same context. According to the details received, about 50 Akali leaders have been summoned to Sri Akal Takht in the morning, against whom further action is likely to be taken.
