Former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal reached Takht Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo under the salary given by Akal Takht Sahib. He served as a watchman in front of Takht Sahib near Charan Kund from 9 to 10 am. After this, Sukhbir, Balwinder Singh Bhundar, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Hira Singh Gabaria, Sucha Singh Langah and Gulzar Singh Ranike performed an hour of kirtan. After this, the Akali leadership conducted a one-hour cleaning service at Mata Sunder Kaur Langar Hall from 11 am to 12 noon.
Balwinder Singh Bhundar, Dr. Cheema, Gabari, Langah and Ranike also cleaned toilets in Guru Teg Bahadur Saran. On this occasion, Youth Akali Dal President Sarabjit Singh Jhinjar, General Secretary Satinderpal Singh Sidhu, Tejinder Middu Khera, Ravipreet Singh Sidhu, Jaswinder Singh Jaildar, Dilraj Singh Bhundar and other Akali leaders and workers were present.
On the other hand, the police and intelligence agencies were keeping an eagle eye on those coming here. Adequate security arrangements were also made by the Shiromani Committee.
Due to strict security arrangements, the congregation was disturbed
Talwandi Sabo: Due to the incident of attack on Sukhbir Singh Badal in Amritsar during service, strict security arrangements were made by the police here. CCTV cameras were temporarily installed around the Takht Sahib complex and a large number of police forces were also deployed. Metal dictators were placed on the roads leading to the Takht Sahib and the Sangat was made to pass through them. Meanwhile, media personnel were also not allowed to go near Sukhbir. In many places people also had an argument with the police. When Sukhbir Badal was serving in the langar to clean the dirty dishes, the security personnel posted there were present with boots only.
Dhindsa served in Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib
Fatehgarh Sahib (Dr. Himanshu Sood): Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa reached the historical Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib here today after being declared a salaryman by the Akal Takht. He previously served as a watchman. After this he performed kirtan sarvan with his supporters and served in the langar hall. After this, while talking to the media, he expressed concern over the lathi charge and firing of tear gas shells on the farmers. He said that the central government should sit down and accept the legitimate demands of the farmers. He said that he got peace and happiness by serving at this holy place. He said that whoever will be selected after the recruitment by the seven-member committee formed by the Akal Takht will be approved. On this occasion former MLA Justice Nirmal Singh, members of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Karnail Singh Panjoli, Randhir Singh Rakhra, Harvel Singh Madhopur, Gurbachan Singh Bachi, Ajit Singh Chandugaraiyan, Rampal Singh Bahiniwal, Advocate Ravinder Singh Sahpur, retired DSP Nahar Singh, Gurbachan Singh Nanoki, Anupreet Kaur Sandhu, Teja Singh Kamalpur, Advocate Tejinder Singh Salana, Advocate Brij Mohan Singh, Prince Kochhar, Gurdev Singh Bhamarsi, Randhir Singh Nalina, Harmel Singh Ranghera, Bahadur Singh Tohra and Bhola Singh Tohra were present.
