Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa also performed service on the second day at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib

Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, the former patron of the Akali Dal reform movement and former Union Minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa performed service at the Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo for the second day today after being declared a salaryman by Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa first performed guard service from 9 to 10 am in front of the main gate of Takht Sahib holding a spear in his hand, wearing a blue robe and carrying a plaque around his neck at the Charan Kund. After that he sang Gurbani Kirtan for one hour. After paying obeisance at the Takht Sahib, he served only a few minutes in the Mata Sunder Kaur Langar Hall by cooking the pots and pans. He could not do this service for long due to his ill health. On this occasion, his wife Bibi Harjit Kaur Dhindsa also performed kirtan with him and served Juthe Bhande Manjan in the langar hall.

Along with Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, former MLA Sukhwinder Singh Aulakh and his family, Sarabjit Singh Doomwali, Bhola Singh Gillpatti, Mithu Singh Kahneke and Amar Singh BA (both members of Shiromani Committee), Pritpal Singh Handa and other Akali leaders and workers were present on this occasion.
