‘Sur Music’ launched in India, Mahfil adorned with stars, Hariharan sang first song

New Delhi: Rajiv Mahavir’s music label ‘Sur Music’ was inaugurated in India at a historical ceremony of music. On the special occasion, Padmavibhushan Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Honorable Minister Mr. Ashish Shelar and Bollywood’s famous singer Roop Kumar Rathore, Javed Ali and film director Rumi Jafri made their dignified presence and started this new platform with applause and best wishes.

Sur Music’s first music veteran singer Padmashree A. There was a record in Hariharan’s beautiful voice, which is the life of this label. A new talent was also welcomed in the ceremony – Sohini Day, a young singer who is ready to create the future of Indian music. Rajiv Mahavir is a great musician who started Sur Music in India in association with Survana Pappu.

Mahavir keeps the music heritage of 11 generations alive. All energy and dedication sur do not just a label, but a symbol of a musical tradition.

Hariharan has sung the first song
The first song of the label ‘Mohabbat Teri’ is a romantic ghazal, composed by Rajiv Mahavir and sung by Padma Shri Hariharan. The song is an excellent example of classical tradition and confluence of world music. Also, the soft and soulful voice of Sohini Day fills a new color in it. The roots of Sur Music are deep, while its purpose is to expand on the global platform. This label in India is ready to become a meaningful music bridge between Bollywood and Hollywood.
