India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs in the final of women’s under-10 T20 cricket here today. India won this victory thanks to the excellent performance of openers G Trisha, Ayushi Shukla, Sonam Yadav and Purnika Sisodia. Batting first, India scored 117 runs for seven wickets, but the Bangladesh team could only score 76 runs in 18.3 overs.
Bangladesh were at 44 for two in the seventh over at one point but lost their last eight wickets within 32 runs. For India, Ayushi took three for 17 runs, Sonam took two wickets for 13 runs and Purnika took two wickets for 12 runs. -News-Patiala
