Pakistan-Taliban News: The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) expressed deep grief over the death of three Afghan cricketers in a Pakistani airstrike in Paktika province on Saturday and announced its withdrawal from the upcoming T20I series.

ACB in a statement posted on X. “Afghanistan Cricket Board expresses its deep sorrow and grief over the tragic martyrdom of brave cricketers from Urgun district, Paktika province, who were targeted in a cowardly attack by the Pakistani regime last night,” it said.

The board confirmed that the players, identified as Kabir, Sibghatullah and Haroon, were among the eight people killed in the airstrike in Urgun district. Seven others are reported to be injured.
