Delhi riots Delhi riots 2020: Umar Khalid gets interim bail New Delhi, December 18 A Delhi court granted former JNU student Umar Khalid seven days interim bail under several conditions, including staying away from social media to attend a family function. given The court has directed Khalid not to meet with anyone other than his friends, relatives or family members and not to go anywhere other than the places mentioned in the bail application. Khalid had sought relief to attend his relative’s wedding on January 1, 2025. Additional Sessions Judge Sameer Bajpai said in the order, “The petitioner (Umar Khalid) shall not use social media during the period of interim bail.” He will meet only his family members, relatives and friends.
