This Baba is Baba Jogi Das of Juna Akhara, who is known as “Tea Wale Baba” during Mahakumbha. Baba Jogi Das has been drinking only tea for the past 12 years and says that this is the secret to his health and energy.
Baba Jogi Das says that he never ate common food like nava falhar or grains. He only drinks tea and it has become an important part of his lifestyle. He claims that tea not only keeps his body healthy, but his mental state is also much better. Baba drinks around 10 liters of tea throughout the day, and this is his daily ritual.
“For us, tea is life,” he says. Baba Jogi Das says, “Tea contains milk, sugar and water, which gives energy to the body and also maintains good health. I think the importance of water is hidden in this tea, because tea contains both water and milk. “
Baba says that from his childhood he was inclined towards serving saints and with the grace of Mahadev he got the opportunity to do this service. His special purpose was to serve tea to the saints because he believed that there was no better medium for the saints than tea. He derives satisfaction from this service and considers it the purpose of his life.
He believes that drinking tea not only gives energy but also mental peace. So Baba said, “We drink tea because it makes us happy, and happiness keeps us healthy.”
Baba Jogi Das also said that when he drinks tea, both his body and mind remain active. “I find that after drinking tea, there is a kind of energy in the body, which keeps me active throughout the day,” he says.
Baba Jogi Das is not only a tea drinker but also has a deep faith in yoga. He said that by doing yoga regularly, both body and mind remain healthy. They believe that by doing yoga one not only stays physically healthy but also mentally calm. Yoga practice brings balance to the body, mind and spirit. Baba advises people to do yoga for 20-25 minutes every day, so that they can take care of their body and experience happiness and peace in life.
