The Delhi High Court dismissed the petition of Sameer Wankhede and clearly stated that the matter is not hearing in Delhi. The court advised him to amend his petition. Justice Purushendra Kumar Kaurav said that if Sameer Wankhede would have proved that he had been maligned in many places including Delhi, then the matter could have been taken forward.

In a petition filed against Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s company Red Chillies Entertainment Private Limited, Wankhede had demanded a compensation of two crore rupees, which he promised that this amount would be donated to cancer patients.
