Gursevak Singh Preet
AhAbout 320 years ago, on 1705 AD, Sarbansdani Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji fought a decisive war with the Mughal Empire at the Dhab of Khidrana for the good of the people. This war was the most unusual war in the world. A handful of Singhs on one side; On the other hand, the large army of the Mughal Empire and the hill kings, but during the war, Guru ji instilled such a spirit of martial arts skill, war strategy, courage and bravery that a handful of Singhs defeated the Mughals by putting on ‘Sawa Lakh Se Ek Ladaun’. defeated
During the war period, this place was a sandy area. Sand on four sides. High sand dunes. Forest career A water trough between the dunes. Guru Ji found this place suitable from a war point of view. According to the facts, this battle was fought on 21 Visakha. It is obvious that the sun will rain fire from above and the sand made from the furnace will burn from below. Drinking water is much needed in this case. Therefore, Guru ji made the camp of the Singhs at the Dhab (where rainwater collects). They put sheets over karirs, vans (wild trees that look yellow) and weeds that looked like tents from a distance. Guruji himself took the hilly hill far away. The battlefield is ready. When the Mughal troops reached here in pursuit, they were panicked mistaking the sheets on the bushes for tents. They had received the information that there are few hungry-thirsty Singhs but there are hundreds of tents here! That is, there is a large number of army. Guru Ji succeeded in his plan to demoralize the Mughal forces. The Singhs fell on the panicked Mughals. Sitting on the top of the hill, Guru ji showered arrows. During the war, the 40 Singhs who gave up Guruji also came under the leadership of Mai Bhago and Bhai Maha Singh.
There was a fierce battle in the fire. The day dawned. The fight stopped. Guruji took care of the injured Singhs. blessed The next day dawned, there was a war. It went on like this for a few days, and at last the remaining Mughals ran back for their lives. Guru ji patted the back of the living Singhs. By keeping the heads of the Singhs who came close to martyrdom in their lap, they gave blessings of five thousand, ten thousand, fifty thousand. On the request of Bhai Maha Singh, the broken knuckle broke. The martyrs were cremated with their own hands.
This land, sanctified by the blood of martyrs, is written on the surface of the earth – ‘Khidrana Kar Muktsar Mukta Mukta Sabb Keen. Hoy Prabhan Jujhe Jab Badei Martbo Leen.’ Charisma is done. Khidrane’s Dhab became the head of Mukti, which is now known as Sri Muktsar Sahib.
