Director Prof. World Punjabi Center of Punjabi University. In the event organized under the supervision of Bhim Inder Singh, the book ‘Ravi Da Rath’ written by Dharam Singh Goraya was presented to the public. A discussion event was also organized on this occasion. Dr. Surjit Singh Bhatti while appreciating the writing of Dharam Singh Goraya said that this book is a unique type of book which unearths and corrects the hidden or wrongly presented facts in history.
Prof. Kirpal Kazak and Prof. Muhammad Indris discussed the historical and contemporary context of the book. Dr. Speaking with reference to this book, Swaraj Singh said that writing such books in Punjabi is a testimony that Punjabis not only know how to make history but also know how to preserve it. After this, the author of the book, Dharam Singh Goraya, spoke about his writing journey, the writing process of the book and shared his memories and experiences about his trip to Pakistan.
Poets Santokh Singh Sukhi, Balwinder Sandhu, Amarjit Waraich, Happy Singh and Kamal Saravan and Lachhmi Narayan presented their works. PhD researchers Balwinder Singh and Gagandeep Singh read papers on this book from different perspectives.
