A major change can be seen in the CBSE Board exams. The Union Ministry of Education has discussed a new plan with the CBSE board, under which 2026 to 10th and 12th grade board examinations can be taken twice in the year. The main objective of this decision is to reduce the press pressure on students and give them a chance to prepare better. This will give you the opportunity to give you the CBE Board exam.
The CBSE board exams are held in February-March, but the first examination under the new proposal may be in January-February. The second test may be with the Supplementary / Improvement Exam in March April or June. Students can sit in either of the two exams for better score or participate in both.
How will this benefit students?
Less stress: Instead of depending on a test, students will get two opportunities.
The opportunity to perform better performance: If you do not get good points for the first time, you can improve another test.
Fear of failure: The supplementary examination will have an additional opportunity to join the board examination.
CBSE’s new global curriculum for foreigners
In another major decision, the Ministry of Education has directed the CBSE to present “CBSE Global Criculum” for foreign schools. This new course will be implemented from 2026-27 sessions, which will promote Indian education system at the international level.
The government is planning to give this new option to reduce the burden burden on students. Distinguishing the growing number of CBSE schools abroad, they will need to present a better and standard curriculum, so CBSE will be announced by the CBSE. The Education Minister Dharmendra President said the proposal would be presented soon for the opinion of the public. The final decision will be taken after this.
