Jatinder Bhalla, Chairman of Nagar Improvement Trust, Bathinda, has fulfilled his election promise by giving a cow to a needy family here. Mr. Bhalla had promised to give a cow to the family during the last by-election of Giddarbaha assembly constituency. Now Bhalla met the family and asked them to like the cow. The family liked a cow from village Jhumba and Bhalla bought the same cow and handed it over to the family. Bhalla said that while he was going from house to house requesting people to vote, he reached the house of a poor lady Amarjit Kaur and requested to vote. Later, the lady lamented that her two cows had died a few days ago and now the family members are going without even tea. Chairman Bhalla has fulfilled his promise and his mind has been relieved. – Personal News-Patiala
