Due to the bad condition of the Sitarpur-Jaraut link road, the commuters are facing trouble. Gurjant Singh, Balram Singh, Dalbir Singh, Hardeep Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Narinder Kumar, residents of village Sitarpur, Jagtar Singh, Rajinder Singh and Sarabjit Singh, residents of village Dharamgarh said that the Sitarpur-Jaraut link road has now turned into ditches, which It’s hard to get over. He said that passers-by are getting injured here daily and their vehicles are also getting damaged. He said that with a little rain, the potholes in this road are filled with water for several days. He said that the passers-by are falling victim to accidents at night. They demanded that the road be repaired.

SDO Punjab Mandi Board Amanveer Singh said that the survey of the road has been done and a repair proposal has been sent under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana which is still pending. After the proposal is passed, the road will be repaired.

People are disturbed due to the bad condition of the link roads

Rough brick pits, which were found in the roads when they were built about ten years ago, have become common due to which two-wheelers, rickshaw pullers, and rickshaw pullers have to face problems.
