A delegation of the New Jersey-India Commission from the United States paid obeisance at the Harmandir Sahib here today. Rajpal Singh Bath, executive director of the New Jersey-India Commission, Dr. Gurbir Singh Johal, Bikram Singh Gill, Gurmeet Singh and Gurpreet Singh Pasricha were involved. Shiromani Committee chief secretary Kulwant Singh Manana and member Gurmeet Singh Booh honored the delegation on reaching Darbar Sahib. Meanwhile, the leader of the delegation Rajpal Singh Bath said that the New Jersey-India Commission includes people from all communities and the task of this commission is to strengthen the relationship by looking for opportunities in the field of mutual business, culture and education. He said that the government of New Jersey respects Sikhs and Punjabis a lot and he prayed to Guru Sahib that mutual brotherhood should be strong. The Chief Secretary of the Shiromani Committee said that Harmandir Sahib is the common place of all humanity, where people from all over the world come and pay obeisance without discrimination.
He expressed hope that this commission will continue to strive to strengthen mutual relations in the same way. Secretary of Shiromani Committee Dharma Prachar Committee Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, Additional Secretary Tejinder Singh Padda, Darbar Sahib Manager Rajinder Singh Ruby, Information Officer Amritpal Singh, Randhir Singh, Satinderpal Singh were present on this occasion.
