Dabbwali, 26 December

The statements of the president of the new district formation committee about any resolution to make Dabbwali a district have fueled the politics of Dabbwali. Now, the demand to make Dabwali a district has reached the hands of the state government and the new district formation committee directly from the big political forces and Jakhera Farm House. Dabwali MLA Aditya Devilal today submitted a demand letter to Cabinet Minister Vipul Goyal, a member of the New District Formation Committee, to make Dabwali a full district. Cabinet Ministers today reached Tejakhera Farm House to pay homage to former Chief Minister late Chaudhry Om Prakash Chautala.

On this occasion, the delegation under the leadership of Dabwali MLA Aditya Devi Lal placed the matter including the policy facts about making Dabwali a district in front of the Cabinet Minister. On this occasion, senior INLO leader Sandeep Chaudhary, INLO city president Sandeep Garg, Nagar Parishad chairman Tekchand Chhabra and other city residents were present. It is worth noting that the statements of District Formation Committee President Krishan Lal Panwar about the absence of a resolution to make Dabwali a district came to light, which raised a political issue. MLA Aditya Devilal, in the memorandum submitted to Minister Vipul Goyal, mentioned the distance from the district headquarters of the cities associated with all the possible new district formations of the state and the basis for giving the district status to Dabwali is the strongest in terms of basic requirements. told

The demand letter said that Dabwali subdivision is a large area of Sirsa district in terms of population and villages. Sirsa district is spread over 4277 sq km, Panchkula is the smallest district with only 898 sq km. Dabbwali is spread over 1058.33 sq km. Apart from this, the people of Dabwali city are 60 km away from district headquarters Sirsa and about 70 km away from many villages. Whereas in Haryana, the distance from one district to another is not more than 40-45 km.

The MLA told Minister Vipul Goyal that the former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had also considered this demand for district status to Dabwali. He demanded from the Haryana government and the new district formation committee to take steps in the direction of making Dabwali a district by requesting new data for the year 2024 on the population, number of voters, area, and number of villages of Dabwali sub-division.
