Padikal, who has been causing a stir in domestic cricket for the past 6 years, scored 86 runs in the semi-final against Haryana. Meanwhile, Padikal also completed his 2000 runs in List A cricket. He has scored these runs at an average of 82.38. Padikal has overtaken Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers for the highest run average among List A batsmen with at least 2000 runs. The Indian team is scheduled to host England in a 3-match ODI series. So Team India has not been announced yet. Devdutt Padikal has scored 2063 runs in 41 matches in List A cricket. During this period, his batting average has been 82.52. He has scored 9 centuries and 12 fifties in List A cricket. Padikal became the first batsman to score the first 2000 runs with the highest average in List A cricket. The 24-year-old Devdutt Padikal has so far got a chance to play in T20Is and Tests for India. He is still waiting for his ODI debut.
