Delhi Police Recruitment 2025 : There is good news for those who dream of becoming a constable in Delhi Police. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the last date to apply for Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Recruitment 2025. Candidates can now fill the online form till 31st October, 2025 at 11 PM. The previous deadline was October 21.
Total Posts and Salary (Delhi Police Recruitment 2025)
A total of 7,565 posts are available in this recruitment, out of which 5,069 are for men and 2,496 are for women. Salary will be under Pay Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100), plus DA, HRA, and other government benefits. It is a permanent government job, which offers both promotion and job security.
selection process
The recruitment process will have four stages:
Computer-Based Test (CBT): It will consist of 100 questions – General Knowledge (50), Reasoning (25), Numerical Ability (15), and Computer Science (10). Each question will carry 1 mark, negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Men: 1600 meters in 6 minutes, 14 feet long jump, 3.9 feet high jump
Women: 1600 meters in 8 minutes, 10 feet long jump, 3 feet high jump
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
Male: height 170 cm, chest 81-85 cm
Women: Height 157 cm
Medical Test: Physical and mental fitness will be tested.
NCC Bonus Marks: Candidates with NCC ‘C’ certificate will get 5% extra marks, candidates with ‘B’ certificate will get 3% and candidates with ‘A’ certificate will get 2% extra marks.
How to apply:
Visit the SSC website at ssc.gov.in, register and fill the form. The fee is ₹100, while SC/ST, women and PwD candidates are exempted. Payment can be made through UPI, Net Banking, or Card.
Exam Date: CBT will be held in December 2025 or January 2026.
