Union Minister Dr. Jatinder Singh announced on Saturday that the central government was working to develop a Unified Job Application Portal for all government recruits. This initiative is aimed to reduce the burden on job seekers and provide them to apply to a platform, which will save their time and energy.
This decision was taken during the highest-level meeting held at the Personnel and Training (DOPT), which was presided over by Jatinder Singh. He has repeated the government’s commitment to adopt the recruitment process more smoothly and transparent.
Improvements in recruitment process
In accordance with an official statement issued by the Broadcast, the minister directed the officials to develop a ‘Single Job Application Portal’ to the candidates to apply to various platforms. Talking to News-Patiala after the meeting, he said that work was started on this scheme and was set to meet it in the specified time limit.
Extension and selection process in regional languages
Minister Singh lauded the efforts of conducting the recruitment tests in addition to Hindi and English. He further said that the goal of the government was to conduct examinations in all 22 languages of the Constitution. He also said that the recruitment process period has been reduced to 8 months to the first-month ago. Plans to make it more brief and effective in the upcoming time.
Advanced-Powered Governance and Mission Karamblet
The Minister emphasized the development of standard guidelines for computer based exams so that all candidates can get equal fields. In addition, he also reviewed the progress of the Mission Karam Kaiden, which has so far joined about 89 lakh government workers (Karamiqi). This program was started in September 2020 and its aim is to develop skills and improve skill employees.
Using Artfashial Intelligence (AI)
In the meeting, the minister emphasizes the effective use of Artfashial Intelligence (AI) in good governance. They gave an example of CPGRAMS 2.0, which an AI supported the public grievance system. He directed the officers to work to adopt the latest technologies in the administration and make the best administration system model for other departments.
