A meeting of Democratic Teachers Front Ludhiana with District Education Officer Ludhiana regarding the issues of teachers and children was held under the leadership of District President Daljit Singh Samrala. In this meeting, the district leaders discussed the separate ID of the children, the sanction of total posts of the finance department in the district and the irregularities in the posts displayed on e-Punjab, the issuance of PPO numbers of 4161 teachers and the teachers and non-teachers during the examinations of the children. – The issue of reducing the pressure of academic work was raised. The district leaders said that the two conditions in the letter seeking the consent of the parents regarding the creation of Apar ID are worth considering. Under the first condition, it has not been declared necessary to make an Apar ID for the child, due to which no child’s I.D. Emphasis cannot be created by force. In the second condition, it is written that parents cannot complain to anyone in case of any scam, so they themselves will be responsible. The organization brought to the attention of the District Education Officer that both these terms are wrong. On this, the District Education Officer assured to discuss the matter with the higher authorities. Apart from this, the teacher leaders also raised the issue of ending the pressure of unnecessary and non-academic work on the teachers during the examination days of the children. On this occasion, the calendar of DTF for the year 2025-26 was also released.
Accused of bullying to create unique IDs

The meeting of Democratic Teachers Front (Punjab) District Ludhiana was held under the chairmanship of District President Daljit Singh Samrala. Some important issues were discussed by the organization on creation of Apar ID, ongoing investigation against Block Education Officer Jagraon for using rude language for female teachers etc. The leaders of the organization repeatedly called the District Education Officer (Primary) to talk about the alleged biased attitude of the investigating officer, but when the officer did not pick up the phone, these teacher leaders got angry. DTF Leaders Harjit Singh Samthar, Davinder Singh Sidhu, Gurpreet Singh Khanna, Harpinder Shahi, Gurdeep Heran said that in these months when the time of papers is near and all the emphasis is on studying, at the same time creating separate IDs in a threatening tone. Pressure is being put on the teachers. In such a situation, instead of conducting studies in schools, teachers go to the children’s homes in the morning to make separate IDs. In such a situation, the state of education in government schools will be bad in the last months of the session.
