The person who attacked Sukhbir was sent to police remand

Police today produced Narain Singh Chaudhary, who was arrested on the charge of fatal attack on Akali leader Sukhbir Singh Badal. The police asked for his seven-day remand, but the court has given Chauda a three-day police remand.

Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the police will try to find out the motive behind the deadly attack. The police will also get information about his pistol. Chawda’s two sons, lawyers by profession, filed an application in the court and pleaded that the police kept their father in custody at an undisclosed location and the family was not informed. He also objected to the police raiding his house in Dera Baba Nanak.

Chaudhary’s brother responded to Majithia’s allegations

Narrain Singh Chaudhary’s brother Narinder Singh Chaudhary alias Bajwa has today responded to the allegations leveled by Bikram Majithia against him and Lok Sabha member Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa regarding their links with terrorists. He said that Majithia should first beat his generation. He said that Majithia should tell what is his relationship with Virsa Singh Valtoha, who described himself as an alleged terrorist in the Vidhan Sabha. He said that Narain Singh is his brother but we both have different ideologies.
