In connection with vandalizing the ATM and trying to steal money, the city police has arrested a person and registered a case against him. SP Rupinder Kaur Bhatti said that the complainant Vivek Goloria resident of Maharaj Nagar Ludhiana said that he works as a field officer in NCR Corporation Limited. On November 11, he was informed by the surveillance team that someone was trying to steal money by tampering with the ATM machine on Hoshiarpur Road. On this, he reached the spot and checked the machine. After this, the police have arrested Sonu son of Harmesh Lal, a resident of Mohalla Jagat Sundh Colony. Similarly, the police have registered a case against an unknown person in connection with the theft of goods from a house in Satnampura area. Complainant Maninder Singh, son of Beant Singh, resident of Kartar Estates, told the police in his complaint that he had hired Inderjit Singh to take care of his house and when he came inside the house, he saw that a lot of goods were stolen.
