Students of sports complex of Amreli district have won bronze medal in rifle shooting at national level with their hard work and dedication. After securing the first place in the state of Gujarat with a gold medal, these students participated in the national competition held in Indore and won the bronze medal with their performance.
Srishti Bambhania’s journey
Bambhania Srishti, a class 11 student of DLSS School, is grabbing everyone’s attention with her talent in rifle shooting. Srishti said that she has won the gold medal and won the first place at the district level. After this he represented Gujarat at the state level and won a gold medal. This achievement gave him an opportunity to represent Gujarat at the national level in Indore.
Contribution of family and school
Srishti, a resident of Delwara village in Gir Somnath district, is currently studying in a school in Amreli. Srishti’s father runs a grocery store. Srishti said, “I got full support from my father and the school staff. With his help I could perform better in shooting. I am working hard to play for India in future and achieve more heights.”

DLSS Campus Director Vasantbhai Patel said that at Shantaben Haribhai Gajera District Level Sports School, students get an opportunity to practice in the morning and evening. Here the students are guided and coached by the trainers after the academic work.
