The United Kisan Morcha condemned the use of tear gas shells to stop the farmers’ march to Delhi

The Punjab chapter of the United Kisan Morcha has strongly condemned the firing of tear gas shells and restrictions on farmers marching on foot towards Delhi on the Shambhu border. Sanyukta Kisan Morcha said that by sealing the rest of the border with Haryana, including Shambhu of Punjab, the Central and Haryana governments of BJP are in a way creating a sense of alienation among the farmers of Punjab. Farmers are being treated like citizens of an enemy country. The United Kisan Morcha demanded from the Central and Haryana governments to stop the oppression of the farmers who were marching peacefully on foot and implement the outstanding demands of the farmers including the legal guarantee of MSP.

Balbir Singh Rajewal, Harinder Singh Lakhowal, Manjit Singh Dhaner, Baldev Singh Nihalgarh, Harmeet Singh Kadien, Raminder Singh Patiala, Jangveer Singh Chauhan, Buta Singh Burjgill, Dr. Satnam Singh Ajnala, Gurmeet Singh Mahima, Binder Singh Golewala, Ruldu Singh Mansa, Prem Singh Bhangu, Bough Singh Mansa, Baljit Singh Grewal, Furman Singh Sandhu, Nachhatar Singh Jaito, Veer Singh Barwa, Mukesh Chandra, Maluk Singh Hirke, Harbans Singh Sangha , Harjinder Singh Tanda, Sukh Gill, Hardev Singh Sandhu, Harvinder Singh and Buta Singh Shadipur alleged that the BJP government at the center reneged on a written promise to accept the demands of the farmers.
