Easy way to clean heating rod : We often use heating rods to heat water in winter. But with repeated use, it begins to accumulate a white coating, which not only reduces the efficiency of the heating rod but can also wear it out quickly. This coating is usually caused by minerals in the water. If you want to clean it, there are some easy home remedies that can make it shine like silver in minutes. Let’s know the unique home remedies to clean it.
How to clean mineral deposits from heating rod
The first way
First fill a bucket with water and hang the heating rod in it. When the heating rod becomes very hot, remove it and hang it in an empty steel bucket. Soon the heating rods will start to turn red after heating and the white coating will start to crack. If it does, put it back in the bucket full of water. You will see the white layer falling off. Gradually the heating rod will clear.
Second way-
Vinegar is also a good remedy for removing white plaque. First make a mixture of water and vinegar in a container and now dip the heating rod in this mixture and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Next, rub the heating rod with a soft cloth. The acidic properties of the vinegar will help remove the white coating and leave the heating rod shiny.
Third method –
A mixture of lemon juice and baking soda can also remove the white coating. Mix baking soda with lemon juice to make a paste and apply it on the heating rod and leave it for 10-15 minutes. After this, clean the heating rod by washing it with water.
Fourth way-
Mix 2 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide in water to make a gum and put a heating rod in it and leave it for 5 minutes. After this scrub the heating rod with the help of a brush. This way your heating rod will shine like new and the water will start heating up faster.
This way, you can easily clean and use the old heating rod.
