Yasir Usman’s book ‘Rekha: The Untold Story’ describes the early days of Rekha in the Hindi film industry. According to the book, actor Bishwajit, director Kuljeet Pal and cinematographer Raja Nawathe made a plan, in which Bishwajit had to kiss on Rekha’s lips without his consent as soon as the camera roll.

Bishwajit later admitted that Rekha felt cheated and angry over the incident, but he also said that he had no fault in this matter.
