This bomb is made by American arms manufacturer General Dynamic and Ordnance Tactical Systems. It is known as Mark-84. The weight of the bomb is 2000 pounds i.e. 900 kg. Where this bomb explodes, there is an explosion up to a distance of 360 meters from its center point, destroying everything there. The energy released from the blast was so strong that almost every building within 800-1000 meters was completely destroyed. The bomb can tear through 3.4 meters thick concrete and 15 inches thick metal. Due to the explosion of this bomb, a 50 meter wide and 11 meter deep pit has been formed.
