Iran’s Missile Technology: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has directly attacked Israel using its third generation ballistic missile ‘Khyber Chirens’. This step has been taken in response to air strikes by the US and Israel recently on the Iranian nuclear bases.
40 missiles were fired under Operation True Promise-III
According to the information given by the Public Relations Unit of IRGC, the attack was carried out in the 20th phase of Operation ‘True Promise-III’. A total of 40 ballistic missiles with solid and liquid fuel were fired on the major military and strategic bases of Israel. The target included Ben Gurian Airport, a Biological Research Center and Alternative Command and Control Center.
Khyber wrinkle used in war for the first time
The Meher News Agency reported that the ‘Khyber Chirens’ missile was displayed in 2022 but was not used in any real military action till now. The firepower of this missile is about 1,450 kilometers, which causes most of the area of Israel to come in its JD.

It is fired from a 10 -wheeled launcher which can be hidden like a common vehicle, which increases its strategic flexibility and rescue capacity.
IRGC warns
