Veteran cricketer R Ashwin (Ravichandran Ashwin) became emotional while announcing his retirement from international cricket. Ashwin (Ravichandran Ashwin) said that taking this decision was not an easy task for him but he is making room for youngsters. Ashwin thanked his coach, captain and teammates and said goodbye to international cricket. Ashwin said that this was my last tour of Australia with my teammates where I had a lot of fun with the players in the dressing room. Ashwin announced retirement like Dhoni. The third Test of the series between India and Australia was a draw.

Like Dhoni, R Ashwin (Ravichandran Ashwin) bid farewell to his international cricket on the tour of Australia by playing the third Test of the series after 10 years. Ashwin is the fastest Indian to take 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450 and 500 wickets in Tests.
