The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Mumbai received a bomb threat email on Friday. The police have registered a case against an unknown accused in the case of threatening to bomb and have started investigation. “A threatening email was received on the official website of Reserve Bank of India. The email was in Russian, warning of blowing up the bank.
A case has been registered against an unidentified accused at the Mata Ramabai Marg (MRA Marg) police station and the case is under investigation, said DCP Zone 1 of Mumbai Police.
Earlier today, an email threatening to blow up three schools in Delhi has been received. Attacking the central government, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said that the BJP-ruled central government has failed in its task of providing security. Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah and said that the people of Delhi have never seen such a bad law and order situation.

On 19 November, the Delhi High Court directed the Delhi government and the Delhi Police to develop a comprehensive action plan including a detailed standard operating procedure (SOP) to deal with bomb threats and related emergencies. The court has fixed a time limit of eight weeks to fulfill these directions. ANI
