In such a situation, the need for charging cable will be eliminated in the next few years.

However, gradually its need is also decreasing and now many gadgets and devices can be controlled simultaneously through voice control. Voice controlled remotes are now coming with new gadgets and devices. In such a situation, it should not be surprising if remote controls stop appearing in the next few years.
Password
If you are a smartphone user then you cannot even imagine your privacy without a password. Passwords are needed to lock everything from social media accounts to apps. However, now gradually this is changing and instead of password, the trend of biometric authentication i.e. fingerprint and Face ID etc. is increasing. In such a situation, biometric authentication may replace password or PIN in the next few years.
