Mumbai. Singer and rapper Badshah has been fined Rs 15,500 for violating traffic rules in Gurugram, Haryana. According to the report of news agency IANS, the rapper’s convoy included three cars, which were allegedly running on the wrong side of the road. He was going to Punjab to attend the music event of singer Karan Aujla on 15 December. Meanwhile, in Gurugram, when he violated the rules, the traffic officers imposed a fine on him.

Gurugram Traffic Police has issued a challan to the rapper. The car that Badshah was driving reportedly did not belong to him but to a boy living in Panipat. A user posted on X and wrote, “3 vehicles of Punjabi singer Karan Aujla’s convoy are going from the wrong side towards Aeria Mall and the bouncers are also misbehaving with the people, but Gurugram Police is sleeping.”

Traffic police searching for remaining two vehicles

Responding to this, Gurugram Police said, “A challan has been issued against wrong side driving under the Motor Vehicle (MV) Act on 16.12.2024.” Another police officer told INS, “A challan of Rs 15,500 has been issued against one vehicle in the convoy, the remaining two are being identified. “Soon, fine will also be issued under MV Act 2019.”

Badshah accused of not paying dues

Let us tell you, last month also Badshah was stuck in a legal matter, when a media company had filed a case against the rapper for not following the payment terms fixed under the legal deal. The company claimed to have produced and promoted the track ‘Bavla’. The company has alleged that Badshah did not pay the dues of the people involved in the construction of the project. The case is currently in Karnal District Court with CNR number HRKR010130502024 and Badshah has not yet given any reaction on the dispute.
