Today, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) New Democracy organized a memorial service at the memorial of Shaheed Master Gyan Singh Sangha in village Shahabpur in memory of Comrade Gurbaksh Kaur Sangha, State President of Women’s Jagriti Manch Punjab and leader of CPI (ML) ND. Addressing on this occasion, the party’s senior state leader Comrade Darshan Singh Khatkar, Comrade Daljit Singh Advocate paid tributes and said that the revolutionary movement has suffered an irreparable loss with the demise of Sathi Sangha. Bibi Sangha started struggles as a revolutionary leader while studying in SN College Banga as a leader of Punjab Students Union. Later, he led many struggles for the interests of workers, farmers, women, during which he also went to jail. Under his leadership, a long struggle was fought across Punjab by Istri Jagriti Manch against lachar singing. On this occasion, state president of Kirti Kisan Union Nirbhai Singh Dhudike, state leader of Women’s Jagriti Manch Charanjit Kaur Barnala, state president of PSU Ranveer Singh Randhawa, leader of Desh Bhagat Memorial Committee Jalandhar Surinder Kumari Kochhar, state of Rural Labor Union President Tarsem Peter, Provincial Leader of Jamahur Adhikar Sabha Buta Singh Mehmoodpur also paid tributes to Comrade Sangha.
