Trump’s warning did not work, Hamas released a new video of cruelty

There are only two weeks left before Donald Trump takes office. He has already warned Hamas to surrender before regaining power and prepare for a ceasefire by freeing all hostages. Despite all the warnings from the incoming US president, Hamas shared a new video on Sunday. An Israeli girl is seen in this video. The girl was taken hostage during the Hamas attack on Israel on 7 August 2023. In the video, this girl is seen begging for her life.

A three-and-a-half-minute video of 19-year-old hostage Leary Albaugh was released. However, it is not clear whether the video is recent or old. Albagh says in the video that she has been held hostage for more than 450 days, indicating that it is a recently filmed video. Albagh was reported to be an Israeli surveillance soldier. He was stationed at Nahal Oz military base near the Gaza border. 15 Israeli surveillance soldiers were killed in the October 7 attack. A total of 6 soldiers including Albagh were taken hostage.

After the video came out, the family of Liri Albagh said in a statement on Saturday evening, “The video released today has broken our hearts. This is not the same daughter and sister we know. He is in bad shape, and his difficult mental state is evident. We saw our brave Leary alive and begging for his life. He is dozens of kilometers away from us and we have not been able to bring him home for 456 days.”
